Many developers can build functional user interfaces (UI), but few can make them feel truly natural. Emil Kowalski Skill is not an app, but rather a set of instructions (skill file) encapsulating the design philosophy and precision animation techniques of Emil Kowalski, a renowned interface specialist. By loading this file into your AI assistant, you directly train the AI to write UI code with high-end quality standards.
This instruction set is specifically designed for frontend engineers who want their AI to stop generating stiff, clunky visual layouts. After adopting these guidelines, the AI will not only create basic elements, but will also suggest accurate animation curves (easing curves) and seamless micro-interactions that separate ordinary apps from top-tier premium products.
How to get started with these instructions:
- Open the provided repository link and copy the entire text from the instruction document.
- Paste the text into the custom instructions section of an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude, or save it as a configuration rule named .cursorrules if you code using an AI editor.
- Ask the AI to build a specific UI component, then watch how the generated code automatically applies advanced design and motion principles without the need for repeated guidance.
