AllUnity is expanding into the world’s primary currencies. The European stablecoin issuer, licensed by Germany’s Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), officially launched USDAU on September 30, 2026. The new crypto asset is fully pegged and redeemable 1:1 with the US dollar. USDAU launched simultaneously across six different blockchain networks: Ethereum, Solana, Base, Tempo, Arc, and Polygon.
The arrival of USDAU expands AllUnity’s portfolio, which has historically focused on European currencies. Previously, they only issued euro (EURAU), Swiss franc (CHFAU), and Swedish krona (SEKAU) stablecoins. Alexander Höptner, CEO of AllUnity, stated that USDAU brings their platform into the currency most widely used for international trade and settlement. The entire issuance process complies with the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation.
Fee-Free Minting for Institutions
Institutional and corporate users represent USDAU’s primary target market. Businesses can access the new token through the Business Mint Account facility provided by the company. Institutional clients that have completed the onboarding process receive access to mint and redeem USDAU without any fees. This fee-free model is designed to facilitate large-scale corporate asset transfers.
The Instant FX service also launched alongside USDAU. The feature allows users to convert value between different stablecoins directly within a single business account. Corporate users can now quickly convert holdings from USDAU to EURAU or other currencies without having to move funds to external exchanges.
Who Are the Supporting Partners?
Several tier-one companies are backing the launch of USDAU. Banking Circle stepped in as the banking service provider responsible for managing the asset’s US dollar reserves. Flowdesk serves as the official market liquidity provider, while Archax is the primary partner handling minting and redemption for their institutional clients.
Infrastructure support also comes from BitGo, Galaxy, Bitcoin Suisse, RULEMATCH, and Hercle. The involvement of these asset custodians and liquidity providers demonstrates that USDAU is ready to integrate into institutional trading flows from day one. A diverse group of strategic partners ensures that the 1:1 parity between USDAU and the US dollar remains seamless.
A European issuer launching a dollar stablecoin brings a fresh perspective. While MiCA regulations are often seen as restricting foreign stablecoins in Europe, AllUnity is using the very same compliance standards to create its own dollar product.
