Binance has immediately followed up its RLUSD rewards program by allocating 1 million XRP to be distributed across four weekly payouts. This follow-up campaign is scheduled to run from August 14 to September 11, 2026, following the first round which just concluded without any gap.
During the first period, which ran from July 17 to August 14, the crypto exchange distributed $800,000 worth of XRP rewards. For the new round, the prize pool is set at a fixed token amount of 1 million XRP. Consequently, the actual dollar value received by participants may change - its value will follow the market price of XRP when the distribution date arrives.
$500 Daily Volume Requirement
To take part in this million-XRP prize pool, users must meet two qualifications. First, each participant is required to hold a minimum balance of 0.01 RLUSD in their Earn or Margin accounts. The second, more restrictive requirement is activity; users must record an average daily trading volume of at least $500 on Binance Margin or Futures products.
Rewards for this campaign will be distributed every Friday over the next four weeks. The first distribution is scheduled for August 21, followed by weekly distributions on August 28, September 4, and ending on September 11. Like many other exchange promotions, this program does not apply universally. Users residing in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and most countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) are confirmed to be unable to participate.
APR Track Record and RLUSD Supply
Data from the first round of the campaign shows a declining effective annual percentage rate (APR). In the first week of its launch, the effective APR stood at 22.25%. This figure then dropped to 8.22% in the second week, flattened slightly to 8.08% in the third week, and finally settled at 7.69% in the closing week.
On the fundamental side of the asset underlying this promotion, the RLUSD supply operates with reserves exceeding its circulation. According to Ripple data as of August 6, the amount of RLUSD tokens circulating in the crypto market reached $1.5896 billion. This supply is fully backed by reserve holdings worth $1.7026 billion.
For traders who already routinely deploy capital on the Binance platform, this follow-up program can be an additional bonus that does not change their routine. However, with the rewards locked in XRP rather than a fixed dollar value, participants are ultimately betting on XRP’s price movement over the next month.
