Kehilangan Pendiri Utamanya, Ondo Finance Tarik CFO Blockchain.com Kawal Aset $3,5 Miliar

Having Lost Its Founder, Ondo Finance Taps Blockchain.com CFO to Oversee $3.5 Billion in Assets

Ondo Finance has officially hired Adam Schlisman, a former Blockchain.com executive, as its new Chief Financial Officer to manage the real-world asset tokenization platform, which currently holds a total value locked (TVL) of over $3.5 billion. This appointment completes the leadership shake-up at Ondo following the sudden departure of its founder, Nathan Allman, in May 2026.

In his former role, Schlisman served as CFO and was fully responsible for finance, treasury, and risk management just as Blockchain.com went through a rapid expansion phase. Before entering the crypto industry, he served as CFO at global macro hedge fund Monashee Investment Management, after spending nearly a decade in portfolio and risk management with Graham Capital Management.

Who is Taking the Helm

The death of Allman - a former Goldman Sachs executive who founded Ondo in 2021 - briefly left the top seat vacant. However, the transition period was short. President Ian De Bode immediately stepped up to fill the CEO position, followed by a series of senior executive hires.

Just a month after the event, in June 2026, Ondo recruited John Hoffman as Managing Director and head of product portfolio. Hoffman previously held a key role at asset managers Grayscale and Invesco. Schlisman’s arrival this month strengthens the new leadership team steering the platform, which now operates across the Solana, Ethereum, and BNB Chain networks, and connects with Binance, Bitget, MetaMask, and Ledger.

“Ondo Stocks surpassing $1 billion in TVL, the growth of Ondo Perps, and the collaboration with DTCC show that the tokenization market is moving from early adoption to institutional scale,” Schlisman said as he stepped into his new role.

Not Just a Network Rebranding

This personnel change goes hand in hand with an infrastructure overhaul. In July 2026, Ondo decommissioned Ondo Chain and launched Ondo Network - a new execution layer that combines centralized exchange-like trading speed with the security of self-custody and on-chain transaction settlement.

Ondo Perps became the first application to run on this new network. Through this feature, traders outside the United States can access perpetual futures directly tied to traditional stocks and commodities, using tokenized real-world assets as collateral.

The expansion move is also accompanied by regulatory approval. Their broker-dealer subsidiary, Oasis Pro Markets, recently received an expanded operating license from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) of the United States. This series of technical and legal updates is what now falls to the new management team.

Managing billions of dollars in assets requires institutional-grade risk management expertise. Ondo’s decision to hire former traditional finance executives sends one clear message: the momentum of their asset tokenization must not stop simply because of the loss of its chief architect.
