The center of crypto gaming activity continues to shift away from Ethereum’s base layer. According to the latest data from PlayToEarn, three blockchain networks recorded the largest gains in gaming activity metrics this week. Polygon led the pack with a 71.17% surge, followed by Base in second with a 59.04% increase, while TON posted 28.78% growth.
Top Scoring Titles
The network-level activity surge ran parallel to sharp spikes across several specific titles. In the 24-hour P2E Score metric, KittyKart Racing led the entire sector with a 900% gain, followed by SoulBound, which posted 625% growth over the same period.
Behind the two frontrunners, three other games recorded near fivefold spikes. Capn Company climbed 493.33%, Farming Tales posted a 488.24% increase, and Infomon AI rounded out the top five with a 481.82% rise.
Growth was also seen among more moderately scaled performers. Gibglue gained 25.89%, Numineverse 4.25%, and Pixels Online 0.48%. A day earlier, the top scorers list featured an entirely different lineup of games, including Elemon, Arenaweb3, Omniaverse, Sparkball, Duelist King, MetaFight, Moonray, and Faraland.
Alternative Crypto Gaming Infrastructure
The volume surge across Polygon, Base, and TON underscores the ongoing diversification of the GameFi ecosystem. All three are increasingly solidifying their roles as alternative infrastructure outside the Ethereum mainnet for developers building crypto games.
TON holds a unique position in this wave. The network is widely known as the home for crypto games running on Telegram, hosting fast-growing titles such as the ant-farming game Honeydew.
The daily rotation of top gainers from the Elemon cohort to the KittyKart Racing group highlights the rhythm of the sector. Players continue to move capital and time from one title to another without leaving the ecosystem.
