Outflow Dogecoin Tembus $57 Juta dalam Sepekan - Bitwise Tutup ETF BWOW Usai 10 Bulan Melantai

Dogecoin Outflows Top $57 Million in a Week - Bitwise Closes BWOW ETF After 10 Months

The Dogecoin spot market lost a net $57.2 million in capital over the past seven days. CoinGlass data indicates that inflows of $480.96 million fell far behind outflows reaching $538.16 million, yielding a net flow percentage of minus 599.50%. The selling pressure pushed DOGE down to around $0.085 as of October 11, 2026, according to CoinGecko data, slipping 0.8% in the past 24 hours and 8.9% over the week.

This drop reversed DOGE’s position after briefly trading at $0.0955 in early October. Market participation also declined sharply as daily trading volume on CoinGecko fell from around $1.53 billion on October 9 to $903 million on October 10. However, spot market dynamics were not the only headwind; additional pressure emerged from the New York exchange floor.

The Short Lifespan of Dogecoin ETF on NYSE Arca

Bitwise Asset Management has decided to close its Dogecoin ETF product in the United States, the Bitwise Dogecoin ETF under the ticker BWOW. The final trading day for BWOW on NYSE Arca is scheduled for October 14, 2026. The decision marks the end of a product that operated for only about 10 months following its debut in November 2025.

The liquidation schedule sets the net asset value (NAV) calculation for October 21, 2026, followed by cash distribution to shareholders on October 22 without requiring separate redemption instructions. Bitwise warned that the cash liquidation distribution could potentially trigger taxable events for affected investors.

In its official statement, Bitwise did not connect the closure of BWOW to the latest spot market outflows. Capital flight occurred across other institutional instruments during the same period. Between October 5 and October 9, crypto ETFs on US exchanges logged combined net outflows of $1.29 billion, spanning products tied to Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Hyperliquid, and Zcash.

Decisive Threshold Below Nine Cents

Amid the combination of ETF closures and spot capital outflows, market attention has turned toward key technical support levels. Analyst Giannis Andreou projects that DOGE still has a chance to build a recovery pattern if it can remain stable within the $0.082 to $0.087 range. Stability in that price band is viewed as opening the door toward a $0.10 target should buying momentum return.

For DOGE holders and retail investors alike, the takeaway from these events is clear: institutional fund closures do not merely pressure token price action, but also bring sudden cash tax consequences. Ignoring the $0.082 threshold risks widening portfolio losses before the market finds stable ground again.
