The daily P2E Score metrics board revealed a sharp shift in player traffic over the past 24 hours. The largest surge in activity did not come from well-funded, established games. Instead, player attention shifted rapidly to indie titles, driving growth rates into the hundreds of percent within a single day.
Hundreds of Percent Growth in the Indie Scene
Performance data over the past 24 hours showed an explosion of activity across small-scale games. Indie title @gangsterarena led the charge with an activity surge reaching 772.73%. This figure placed it at the top of the daily growth leaderboard, outpacing numerous names across the web3 gaming industry.
The upward trend was not limited to a single title. A wave of new players quickly spread to various other indie games. @ReneVerse_io followed closely in second place with a 754.55% increase in activity. The next spot was taken by @AscendtheEnd, which posted a 654.55% growth, while @waifusweeper rounded out the list with a 588.24% jump.
Among mainstream blockchain games, @clash_dome recorded a 257.50% increase in activity. This growth rate left behind established titles like @BombCryptoGame, which only posted a 7.04% gain over the same period.
The Tactical Shooter Anomaly
While the majority of crypto gaming projects gained new players, headwinds hit the tactical shooter genre. @playoffthegrid, which holds the title of the most popular web3 tactical shooter, did not share in the market’s positive trend.
Player activity for the game saw a 6.27% correction. This slight drop was a rare exception amid a rising GameFi ecosystem, highlighting that popular status does not necessarily guarantee daily player inflows.
Battle of the Three Major Networks
Beyond the competition among individual game titles, the battle for dominance heated up at the underlying network level. Crypto game developers continue to make their choices on which blockchain to build their ecosystems. Solana solidified its position as the most popular blockchain in this development sector.
The Solana network recorded a 70.73% growth in activity within a day. This was closely followed by Polygon, which held the second spot with a 69.78% increase. Avalanche maintained its standing to complete the top three with a 65.5% rise in activity.
For the crypto community, the shift toward indie games proves that the market is fast-moving and constantly seeking novelty. The toughest challenge for these surging games is not attracting crowds, but keeping players from growing bored the next day.
