Pi Network has launched four developer infrastructure updates ahead of its inaugural Ecosystem Summit on November 17-19, 2026. The new technical capabilities are designed to support an ecosystem that now encompasses more than 300 registered Mainnet apps, over 420,000 active Nodes, and 18.1 million users who have completed full identity verification (KYC).
The updates focus on four key areas: an overhaul of the developer portal, automated desktop app creation powered by artificial intelligence assistants, test token price tracking, and tightened biometric verification.
AI Assistant Integration and Desktop Automation
Within the Pi Desktop environment, the SoloHost feature now integrates artificial intelligence coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex. This integration automates packaging public Docker images directly into release-ready applications without manual workflows.
The SoloHost feature complements updates in Desktop version 0.6.4. In that release, users accessing computer applications on mobile phones via the Pi Browser no longer need to configure routers manually. The built-in system also includes dedicated security scans to verify file access permissions and network traffic.
Alongside the desktop enhancements, the Developer Portal revamped its onboarding flow for application builders. Developers can now manage domains, API keys, app wallets, and privacy settings through a single centralized dashboard called App Configuration. The portal’s navigation layout was also updated to streamline access to decentralized services, such as Pi Sign-In, Ecosystem Listing, PiNet, and the Pi Ad Network.
Testnet Token Tracker and Tightened Biometrics
In the blockchain explorer segment, Pi BlockExplorer began providing price history for Launchpad testnet tokens, such as the SLICE pair against Test-Pi. This price tracking is designed to test user interface readiness before official token launches take place on the Mainnet, where allocated funds will route directly into liquidity pools.
For identity protection, the PiVerify service expanded its validation framework with face uniqueness checks. This biometric scan is specifically engineered to prevent multi-accounting by single individuals across the ecosystem. Beyond duplicate account filtering, PiVerify introduced liveness checks to satisfy business partner integration requirements.
Readiness Test Ahead of the Ecosystem Summit
For developers, the addition of AI coding assistants, a centralized configuration dashboard, and token liquidity simulations lowers technical friction before products face tens of millions of verified users. The availability of these four new instruments serves as a benchmark for application infrastructure readiness ahead of the Ecosystem Summit opening in mid-November.
