Layer-2 Sokongan Upbit Bantah Isu Kebocoran RPC Mainnet - Jaringannya Saja Belum Ada

Upbit-Backed Layer-2 Refutes Mainnet RPC Leak Rumors - Network Isn’t Even Live

Rumors of a mainnet RPC endpoint leak recently circulated on social media targeting GIWA - an Ethereum Layer-2 network built using the OP Stack within the Optimism ecosystem. The development team promptly dismissed the reports with an irrefutable technical fact: their main network is not operational yet.

The project, backed by South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, confirmed that a mainnet RPC leak is impossible. The team emphasized that GIWA remains strictly in active development and has not released a public mainnet version, meaning there is no live core infrastructure that could be leaked.

Only Testnet Is Live

To clear up confusion regarding the network’s status, the development team directed users to their official technical documentation. The documentation explicitly shows that GIWA currently only offers a public testnet named GIWA Sepolia, accessible via the sepolia-rpc.giwa.io link.

A second testing facility made available is a test endpoint called Flashblocks. This feature is designed specifically to enable transaction pre-confirmations at higher speeds than standard blocks. However, both the GIWA Sepolia network and the Flashblocks endpoint are currently rate-limited for all users to maintain testing stability.

The project’s official smart contract registry further reinforces the developers’ denial. All listed smart contracts cover only the Sepolia testnet. Under the mainnet section of the same documentation, the status remains labeled “under development,” while production endpoint availability is marked “coming soon.”

Warning Against Scam Schemes

The developers responded to the unfounded rumors with a warning for crypto users ahead of the project’s launch schedule. They urged the broader crypto community to always practice due diligence (DYOR) whenever encountering early launch claims circulating on social media platforms.

Caution is absolutely necessary as malicious actors often exploit launch momentum, the GIWA name, and Upbit’s backing to craft fraudulent schemes. Fake RPC links are frequently deployed as phishing bait to drain assets from users rushing to find shortcuts to access the new network early.

For developers and prospective users alike, the project’s official documentation remains the authoritative source on network status. Reported via crypto.news.
