Binance has begun winding down support for Pax Dollar (USDP), scheduling the final termination of all services and spot trading for September 24 at 03:00 UTC.
The phase-out began on September 11 when users lost access to One-Click Buy and One-Click Sell features for USDP. On the same day, Binance also removed margin borrowing options - across both isolated and cross-margin modes - involving the asset.
Tiered Delisting Schedule
Service reductions continue as Binance Pay and Binance Pool completely drop support for USDP on September 16. On that same date, flexible loan features will also be removed, followed by the forced closure of all remaining open USDP margin trading positions.
On September 17, Binance Earn will automatically redeem all user USDP deposits. The principal balance along with accrued yields will be returned directly to users’ respective spot wallets.
Ahead of the final deadline, Binance will disable trading bots and small balance conversions. Once supporting facilities are terminated, USDP spot markets will be permanently closed on September 24 at 03:00 UTC.
Asset Withdrawal Deadline
USDP deposits will be fully halted on September 25 at 03:00 UTC. Although incoming transfers will be locked, withdrawal services will remain operational until November 24, giving investors a full two-month window to move their assets.
Binance confirmed that this delisting stems from routine internal reviews of liquidity and regulatory standards, rather than any fundamental token issues. The decision is unrelated to default rumors - USDP’s US dollar reserves remain intact, and its issuer continues to process cash redemptions as normal.
For USDP holders on the exchange, the late-November withdrawal deadline leaves ample room to secure funds without cause for panic. Reported via crypto.news.
