CROSS Tembus App Store Mainstream Korea - Tepat Saat Sektor P2E Mencatat Ledakan 1.250%

CROSS Enters Mainstream Korean App Store - Just as P2E Sector Sees 1,250% Surge

The boundary between Web3 gaming and mainstream gamers is steadily blurring. CROSS gamechain has confirmed the launch of its AI-native gaming platform on ONEstore - an app marketplace with a massive user base in South Korea - in late July 2026.

Targeting ONEstore is no random move. The platform commands a significant share of Korea’s local app market, serving as a strategic bridge to reach non-crypto users across East Asia. Through this conventional distribution channel, CROSS aims to bring Web3 gaming directly into everyday smartphones. According to CoinMarketCap calendar data, the app’s launch is scheduled for July 31, 2026.

Why Choose the Conventional Route?

CROSS’s move to bring its AI-native game to a mainstream app store is a strategy to break past existing market boundaries. For years, the crypto ecosystem has often remained confined to the same bubble of users. By launching on ONEstore, the project targets a fresh audience primarily looking for entertainment - introducing Web3 economics without forcing newcomers to navigate unfamiliar platforms outside official app stores.

GameFi Activity Accelerates Again

CROSS’s South Korean rollout comes as the blockchain gaming sector heats up once again. According to data shared in a post by PlayToEarn, crypto gaming activity across various networks has surged over the past 24 hours. Immutable led the charge with a 59.15% increase in activity, followed by the Avalanche chain up 36.23%, and Polygon posting a 25.46% gain.

This momentum is particularly evident in the Avalanche ecosystem. The network hosts active blockchain titles such as DeFi Kingdoms, MapleStory Universe, LFG, Numineverse, and Off The Grid. The uptick in on-chain activity signals revived player engagement across these titles.

P2E Tokens Surge Up to 1,250%

The influx of players coincided with surging interest in Play-to-Earn (P2E) tokens. Over the same 24-hour window, the market recorded notable gains across several GameFi assets. Kingdom Karnage spiked 680% while SolChicks climbed 800%. Meanwhile, the UGW token posted the largest gain, soaring 1,250%.

The entry of crypto gaming projects into conventional distribution channels like ONEstore is no longer just an experimental trial. With network activity rising sharply and P2E tokens heating up the market again, taking the initiative directly to mainstream gamers has become a natural next step. The introduction phase is over; the real test now is whether these platforms can retain new players within their ecosystems.

Reported based on the CoinMarketCap calendar.
