Transaksi Mingguan Solana Sempat Lampaui NYSE - Padahal di 2022 Pangsa Pasarnya Cuma 0,30%

Solana Weekly Transactions Briefly Surpassed NYSE - Up from Just 0.30% Market Share in 2022

The Solana network executed an average of 15% of the total trading volume of benchmarked US exchanges throughout 2026. The data was documented by analyst Max Wadington in a Fidelity Digital Assets research report. The same report highlighted a direct comparison: spot transaction execution frequency on Solana briefly surpassed the traditional New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) during one trading week.

Solana’s transaction share has moved far beyond its initial baseline. In 2022, the network held just a 0.30% market share compared to US equity exchanges. The surge to 15% has firmly placed decentralized activity on Wall Street analysts’ radar.

In its research, Fidelity compared decentralized exchange (DEX) spot trading volume on Solana with US equity exchange volume. This comparison comes against a backdrop of market structure: 50% of total US equity trading in 2025 took place off-exchange or via alternative trading systems (ATS). Solana, in contrast, executes all of its trades directly on an open public ledger.

RWA Market Nears $5 Billion

Beyond standard crypto token transactions, Solana’s activity includes trading tokenized real-world assets (RWA). Fidelity’s report noted that monthly trading volume for RWA instruments on the network surged from under $100 million previously to nearly $5 billion.

To process more transactions per block, Solana’s compute capacity limit per block was increased by 66%, from 60 million to 100 million compute units. Validators prepared this compute quota adjustment to accommodate clusters of concurrent transaction executions.

Independent Testing Targets 150 Milliseconds

Solana’s technical network performance currently records a steady slot time around 400 milliseconds. Developers have set a long-term goal of cutting that block time to 200 milliseconds. Alongside this target, the Alpenglow consensus system officially went live on October 21, 2026.

The Alpenglow upgrade targets transaction finality of 150 milliseconds. However, independent testing shows the network’s current median finality remains at 404 milliseconds. These test results highlight the gap that still needs to be bridged between protocol design and real-world performance.

For crypto market participants and institutional investors, the Fidelity report underscores that spot trading volume on DEXs is beginning to directly rival conventional stock exchanges. The challenge has now shifted to the technical front: whether Solana validators can achieve the 150-millisecond finality target as the market share they handle continues to expand.
