Arthur Hayes has offloaded another substantial portion of his crypto portfolio. Over the 24-hour period ending October 25, 2026, Hayes recorded total token sales of $28.8 million to the market, pocketing a net profit of $6.65 million.
Data from on-chain tracker Lookonchain shows the latest activity occurred around 14:00 UTC on October 25, 2026. Within the two hours leading up to the report, a wallet belonging to Hayes sold an additional 14 million Ethena (ENA) tokens with a market value of $2.73 million.
On the previous day, October 24, 2026, Hayes had already sold $22.28 million worth of tokens, including the liquidation of 6,400 ETH. The additional sale of 14 million ENA on October 25 brought cumulative sales to $28.8 million across the full 24-hour window.
Where the $6.65 Million Profit Came From
Despite the transaction value reaching tens of millions of dollars, the financial gains Hayes realized were not evenly distributed across each asset. Of the $6.65 million in total net profit he secured, the lion’s share originated from two assets: ETH and ENA.
The outcome was markedly different for a lineup of decentralized finance (DeFi) tokens also offloaded. Hayes virtually broke even on five tokens: Uniswap (UNI), ether.fi (ETHFI), Aerodrome (AERO), Pendle (PENDLE), and Zama (ZAMA). Across this asset basket, Hayes pulled out his principal capital without generating any meaningful profit margin.
Shift from Maximum-Risk Stance
The massive asset liquidation marks a significant positioning shift for Hayes. Previously, in August 2026, he was known to have adopted a maximum-risk posture in the crypto market. The decision to offload up to $28.8 million in tokens within 24 hours illustrates a distinct pivot away from his earlier aggressive stance.
The broader crypto market was under pressure as these sales unfolded. Bitcoin continued to struggle to hold the $80,000 level, reflecting subdued market momentum that has yet to recover.
Lookonchain, an on-chain analytics platform tracking wallets associated with prominent crypto figures, detailed these transaction flows using public ledger data. For analysts and investors monitoring high-net-worth whale wallets, Hayes’ moves demonstrate concrete execution: locking in gains on profitable positions while closing out breakeven holdings amid market uncertainty.
