JPM Coin Meluncur di Ethereum Tanpa Pasokan - $400 Juta Dana Pasar Uang J.P. Morgan Justru Geser ke Solana

JPM Coin Launches on Ethereum with Zero Supply - $400 Million in J.P. Morgan Money Market Funds Shifts to Solana

The official smart contract for JPM Coin (JPMD) on the Ethereum network has recorded zero supply and no transfer history since launching on October 19, 2026. The findings were reported by research firm Sentora following an audit of on-chain activity for J.P. Morgan’s banking token.

An examination of the Ethereum smart contract code revealed that the system lists only a single allowlisted address. This permission restriction prevents wallet-to-wallet transactions from occurring on the mainnet, leaving token transfer activity at zero.

Single Allowlisted Address and Status on Base

The lack of activity on Ethereum mirrors an existing pattern on layer-2 networks. Sentora noted that the deployment of JPM Coin on Base has also remained stagnant. Balances on Base hold only around $1 million split between two addresses, with no change in figures since November 2025.

Sentora’s audit also confirmed the absence of direct on-chain integration between JPM Coin and the bank’s money market fund portfolios or decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. The JPMD token is not connected to liquidity pools or lending protocols in the open crypto ecosystem, remaining isolated within its internal architecture.

$400 Million Redemptions and Surge on Solana

In stark contrast to JPM Coin’s lack of supply, substantial capital movements occurred across the investment bank’s other investment offerings. Between October 21 and 22, 2026, Sentora documented $400 million in redemptions from the tokenized money market fund JLTXX on Ethereum.

During the same period, JLTXX capital deployed on Solana surged from near zero to $450 million. This large-scale liquidity shift coincided with the official launch of the MONY and JLTXX products within the Solana ecosystem.

Liquidity Designed for Cross-Chain Movement

Responding to these capital flows, Paul Przybylski, Global Head of Digital Assets at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, emphasized that institutional client liquidity is designed to operate across multiple networks, allowing capital to move based on client deployment needs.

For market participants monitoring the adoption of real-world assets (RWAs), Sentora’s findings highlight the gap between technical contract deployments and actual capital allocation. The presence of a bank’s smart contract on Ethereum does not necessarily yield active transfer volume when institutional clients opt to deploy liquidity on other networks.
