Bitcoin has just broken past the $79,000 mark, and its wave of liquidity has immediately swept through the GameFi ecosystem. Amid this market rally, Imaginary Ones has stolen the spotlight. This Web3 project recorded a 117.16% surge in its P2E Score within just 24 hours. That figure places them at the top spot as the blockchain game with the highest traction in the market today.
The latest data from PlayToEarn.net, reported by X account @PlayToEarn, shows a sharp contrast on the monitoring board. While Imaginary Ones’ traction skyrocketed, two other names actually moved backward. Sipher recorded a 3.03% decline in traction, while Pixels fell 0.77% in the same period. This figure proves that market attention is currently focused elsewhere.
Imaginary Ones itself is not a new name. They have previously built a reputation as a creative NFT collection with distinctive bubble-cute character art. The community base of that NFT project is now serving as an anchor as they expand into the GameFi realm, and today’s score surge proves that their move is receiving an immediate response from the market.
More Than Just a Coattail Effect
What is happening in this sector does not stand alone. The broader context is Bitcoin’s movement touching $79,000 and dragging up top-tier altcoins. The surge in the GameFi category occurring alongside this rally once again demonstrates a long-established correlation pattern. When Bitcoin breaks through resistance levels, capital flows heavily toward other sectors, and GameFi is one of the destinations.
A larger wave of traction was also recorded across a range of other GameFi projects today. Moow2earn posted a 900% jump, followed closely by R_Games with an 840% increase and Infomon AI at 690%. Various other games also surged. MetalCore recorded 433%, BadMadRobots was at 409%, while Myria and Champions IO rose by 358% and 354% respectively. These figures reinforce that the surge in interest in GameFi is widespread, not just an anomaly in a single project.
Signals Behind Small Interactions
The information about the beginning of this movement was spread through a tweet from the @PlayToEarn account. At a glance, the engagement numbers seem small. The tweet has only gathered 6 likes and 21 retweets. However, the power of information in the crypto market is not always measured by virality metrics.
This account is followed by 83,713 users whose primary focus is indeed in the GameFi and NFT niche. For market participants, reports from an account with such a focused audience serve as a formal category signal. When their radar catches a jump in a project’s P2E Score, it becomes an early indicator that the gaming community is starting to shift their focus.
Today’s movement pattern reminds the market of one basic rule. When fresh capital inflows follow the Bitcoin price rally, traction data never lies about where that money lands. And this time, those bubble-cute art characters are right in the path of the incoming funds.
