The BNB Chain network absorbed $3.62 billion in real-world assets (RWA) throughout 2026. According to data released by analytics platform CryptoRank as of September 11, 2026, the capital injection places the layer-1 ecosystem in the top spot, outpacing its main rivals in the race to bring traditional financial instruments onto the blockchain.
Solana followed in second place, recording $2.66 billion in RWA value growth over the same period. With that figure, BNB Chain maintains a lead of approximately $960 million - or 36% higher than Solana in terms of dollar inflow growth metrics year-to-date.
Stellar took third place with an additional $2.50 billion in funds. Ethereum, widely known as the hub of decentralized finance, settled in fourth place after adding just $1.6 billion in value.
Not the Standard Total Value Locked
CryptoRank’s calculation metric specifically measures the growth rate of new dollar inflows throughout 2026, rather than simply counting retained balances. This measurement is entirely distinct from standard benchmarks for total assets held by a network or the general Total Value Locked (TVL) metrics seen across the DeFi market.
The total value of onchain RWAs has now expanded past the $39 billion mark. The product categories span widely, including onchain representations of government securities, private credit allocations, physical commodity holdings, mutual funds, corporate equity records, and various other financial claims.
Unilateral Claim or Accurate Figures?
The team behind the BNB Chain ecosystem immediately leveraged the independent tracking data to promote the network’s top ranking, circulating the phrase ‘Who run the (RWA) world? BNB Chain’.
However, the $3.62 billion in added assets remains an estimate from CryptoRank, rather than an official report independently confirmed by BNB Chain’s internal network operators.
For retail investors allocating assets to the RWA sector, this race for rankings underscores how institutional adoption labels have become marketing material circulated well before internal validation is issued. Reported by crypto.news.
