Baru 11 Hari Meluncur, 'Rantai' Bikinan Robinhood Sudah Mepet di Belakang Coinbase - Rahasianya: Gratis Ongkos sampai September

Just 11 Days After Launch, Robinhood’s Chain Closes in on Coinbase - The Secret: Zero Fees Until September

Just eleven days after its official launch, Robinhood’s blockchain network has caught the attention of on-chain analysts. On July 11, Robinhood Chain processed 7.6 million transactions in a single day - closely trailing Coinbase’s Base, which recorded 9.2 million during the same period. For a network that only launched on July 1, coming so close to Ethereum’s leading Layer 2 has turned heads across the industry.

The figures were shared by MSBIntel and verified by Token Terminal. Robinhood Chain, powered by Arbitrum technology, debuted alongside Robinhood’s tokenized stock platform. It quickly became one of the most active Layer 2 ecosystems - even briefly topping $500 million in daily volume on Uniswap, ranking second behind Ethereum mainnet, and overtaking Base as the second-largest Uniswap deployment by spot activity.

The Fuel: Transaction Fees Covered by the Company

Where did this explosion in activity come from? Much of the answer comes down to one simple decision: Robinhood is covering user gas fees for the first 90 days. By waiving transaction fees through the end of September 2026, the company removed barriers for retail traders, DeFi users, and memecoin hunters to move assets across its network. Despite the subsidy, the network still generates around $4,000 in daily protocol fees.

Robinhood also didn’t enter the arena empty-handed. It brought along its roughly 23 million brokerage users, along with tokenized stocks accessible in more than 120 countries. Chainlink provides oracle pricing for 95 tokenized equities - including Nvidia, Apple, and Alphabet - while Uniswap provides liquidity and Morpho powers lending features. The momentum even spilled into the stock market: the Layer 2 announcement helped lift HOOD shares by around 10%, while the launch of AI agent-powered trading features added another 7% gain.

The Real Test Comes in Late September

Yet that is where the big question mark looms. The gas subsidy expires at the end of September 2026. Once users begin paying their own transaction costs, it will become clear whether this activity is genuine or simply launch euphoria fueled by subsidies. FalconX estimated in April 2026 that Robinhood Chain could generate around $1.1 million in fees over six months. Robinhood’s second-quarter financial report in early August - the first to include live network metrics - will serve as the initial test of whether this blockchain infrastructure bet truly pays off, or if these are merely inflated numbers that will vanish once the subsidy tap is shut off.
