Ramp Buka Transfer Stablecoin Solana ke 140 Negara - Jam Kerja Perbankan Tak Lagi Berlaku

Ramp Launches Solana Stablecoin Transfers to 140 Countries - Banking Hours No Longer Apply

Business payment platform Ramp has officially launched its Stablecoin Account service built on the Solana network, allowing more than 1,000 corporate clients to hold and transfer USDC and USDT without being bound by banking hours. The company’s operational data shows that over 70% of payment volume on the platform takes place outside traditional banking hours.

Cross-border remittance delays caused by legacy system constraints have now been completely eliminated.

Pay with Crypto Without Holding Crypto

The core innovation of this service is that businesses can pay overseas vendors or contractors using stablecoins, even if the corporation holds no digital assets on its balance sheet. Through a feature called Ramp Bill Pay, funds are drawn from standard USD bank accounts or the company’s Ramp Checking account. This fiat is then converted directly into USDC or USDT behind the scenes before being routed to the recipient’s wallet.

This payment rail reaches recipients with digital wallets in over 140 countries. If the recipient prefers pure fiat, the system also facilitates direct conversion options into more than 40 local currencies. These cross-border transfers bypass the sluggish wire transfer processing that often halts over weekends or public holidays.

Integrated into Existing Accounting Systems

Customers’ stablecoin balances are not isolated in a separate application. USDC and USDT holdings appear side by side with standard cash accounts on a unified control dashboard. This accounting system adheres directly to company-configured expense approval policies while connecting seamlessly with existing accounting software.

As an added incentive for depositors, businesses can also generate returns. Ramp offers rewards of up to 3.25% on eligible stablecoin balances held on its platform.

Why Are Institutions Continuing to Turn to Solana?

Ramp’s integration adds to the growing list of major institutional players adopting the Solana network. In Asia, Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings partnered with the Solana Foundation to announce the establishment of an entity named SBI Solana Global. The joint initiative aims to build on-chain financial infrastructure, spanning yen-denominated stablecoin development, bond tokenization, and real estate asset recording.

A similar trend is being explored in South Korea through Solana stablecoin trials by payment company Shinhan Card. On the frontier of emerging technology, the Solana Foundation has also teamed up with Google Cloud to launch Pay.sh. This platform is specifically designed to enable artificial intelligence (AI) agents to settle payments with one another using stablecoins on the Solana blockchain.

For corporate treasury teams, delaying international vendor payouts while waiting for banks to reopen on Monday has officially become a thing of the past.
