150 Broker Saham AS Bakal Jual Beli Kripto di Layar Lama - Jalan Pintas Menuju Pasar Tokenisasi $4 Triliun

150 US Stockbrokers Set to Trade Digital Assets on Legacy Screens - A Shortcut to the $4 Trillion Tokenization Market

Two entities from different sides of finance have linked their networks to bring digital assets to mainstream broker screens. BitGo, an institutional digital asset infrastructure provider, announced a planned partnership with OTC Markets Group on July 22, 2026. OTC Markets Group is a fully regulated operator of over-the-counter securities markets. The alliance is designed to serve more than 150 broker-dealers operating under OTC Link ATS - an alternative trading system strictly regulated by the US SEC.

If implemented, traditional brokers will not need to install new software. They will be able to directly quote buy and sell prices, trade assets, and settle digital asset securities transactions using the exact same electronic trading infrastructure they currently use for OTC markets and US equities. This direct access breaks down the barrier between legacy stock exchanges and the crypto ecosystem.

Roles behind the trading desk have already been established. BitGo Bank & Trust will serve as the qualified custodian holding the assets, while trade settlement will be facilitated via BitGo’s Go Network. BitGo’s ability to handle this role is backed by full regulatory approval; the firm received final approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) last December to operate as a federally chartered national trust bank.

First Steps in Digital Securities

The initial framework of the partnership focuses on supporting digital asset securities. The deal leaves room for future expansion into tokenized assets and commodities as market regulatory frameworks evolve. Equity investors reacted to the planned collaboration, with OTC Markets Group shares closing up 2.7% at $53.50 on the day of the announcement.

Why Are Exchanges Racing Toward Tokenization?

The joint move by BitGo and OTC Markets Group is not the only such development on Wall Street this month. The announcement follows a series of similar efforts from major players like Securitize and Cantor Fitzgerald, which are also bringing tokenization technology into capital market instruments, including facilitating initial public offerings (IPOs). These institutions are chasing massive market projections.

Bernstein analysts recently projected that the tokenized real-world asset market could reach a $4 trillion valuation by 2030. Their note also highlighted the rationale behind the trend: tokenization and prediction markets are now identified as the next battleground for traditional exchanges and brokers. Bringing digital assets directly to legacy brokerage trading desks is no longer just a complementary feature, but an essential strategy to ensure institutions do not miss out on a multi-trillion-dollar shift.
