$348M in RWA Inflows Stream into Solana in a Month - BlackRock and Franklin Templeton Drive Surge

Solana attracted $348 million in net real-world asset (RWA) inflows over the past 30 days. This additional capital pushed the total value of distributed RWAs in the Solana ecosystem up by 11.13% to $4.23 billion, cementing its position as the world’s leading RWA distribution network.

An RWA Foundation report on Sept. 5, 2026, citing analytics data from RWA.xyz, highlights a sharp divergence in growth trajectories across networks. While assets on Solana saw double-digit growth, RWA value on Ethereum posted a modest gain of just 0.77% over the same period. Stellar recorded 5.22% growth, whereas asset contractions hit the XRP Ledger, down 5.51%, and Avalanche, which slid 14.06%.

The $348 million figure for Solana purely reflects net inflows, rather than daily trading volume. This metric measures the difference between incoming capital and outgoing withdrawals. The calculation of distributed RWA assets is also distinct from total value locked (TVL) in DeFi protocols, as RWAs specifically track tokens whose value is tied directly to off-chain financial instruments such as government bonds, private credit, mutual funds, and equities.

Traditional Financial Products Pile into Solana

The presence of products from some of the largest asset managers in the United States has been a primary contributor to Solana’s RWA assets. BlackRock launched its BUIDL fund on the network via Securitize in March 2025. As of February 2026, BUIDL’s assets under management specifically on the Solana network reached $550 million.

Franklin Templeton added liquidity through its BENJI product (OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund), which has been available on Solana since February 2025. As of the June 30 report, BENJI’s total net asset value stood at $753.24 million across networks.

In May 2025, VanEck followed suit by launching VBILL - an instrument that invests in short-term U.S. Treasury bills - on Solana via Securitize. This product spans four ecosystems simultaneously: Solana, Ethereum, Avalanche, and BNB Chain. Beyond traditional asset managers, Ondo Finance also operates its USDY token, backed by U.S. Treasuries and bank deposits, alongside its OUSG product on Solana.

What This Means for Investors

For crypto ecosystem users, the presence of multi-million-dollar financial instruments from established institutions offers fresh blockchain utility. Investors can now allocate funds into on-chain assets that yield real-world value and returns, without relying solely on crypto market volatility or speculative token lending platforms.
