Bermodal $80 Juta, Kast Buka Rel Stablecoin Untuk Bisnis - Ubah Saldo Menganggur Jadi Bunga 8%

Armed With $80M, Kast Launches Stablecoin Rails for Business - Turning Idle Balances Into 8% Yield

Kast, a stablecoin-focused fintech payments company, has officially expanded into the corporate sector with the launch of KAST Business. The platform combines daily business accounts, payment card issuance, and cross-border payment rails into a unified stablecoin-powered ecosystem.

The rollout comes less than a year after Kast finalized its latest funding round. In March 2026, the company secured $80 million in fresh capital, pushing its valuation to $600 million. That funding is now being deployed to attract commercial clients that still rely heavily on legacy banking systems.

Earn 8% on Idle Cash

KAST Business allows companies to receive funds through regulated partner-managed virtual fiat accounts. Clients can also deposit directly in stablecoins or crypto. Those operational funds can then be spent using virtual cards or sent to local counterparties across more than 20 supported currencies.

Kast claims its cross-border services already span over 170 countries. Despite its broad reach, the availability of specific features remains subject to the applicable regulatory frameworks in each jurisdiction.

Its biggest draw lies in its cash management facility. KAST offers an annual yield of up to 8% on unused or idle balances. This return is generated by placing assets into short-term US Treasurys combined with native stablecoin yields. On the spending side, corporate users can earn up to 3% cashback on card transactions.

Compliance Fortified by Former SEC Advisor

Kast operates strictly as a fintech company rather than a bank. It navigates complex banking regulations by routing all regulated transactions through licensed partner institutions. This partnership model maintains operational agility while easing the firm’s compliance burden across global markets.

To foster smooth regulatory engagement with watchdogs, Kast hired former US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) advisor Stephanie Allen to lead its policy communications. The appointment is seen as crucial for reassuring corporate clients seeking regulatory certainty around digital asset movements.

Kast claims its total platform user base has surpassed one million entities. For its newly launched corporate arm, the company has set a target of onboarding 1,000 to 5,000 active businesses by late 2026, testing the real-world readiness of stablecoin rails for standard corporate treasury management.
