Ether Ditinggal $140 Juta Buntut Suku Bunga The Fed - Ironisnya Solana Tahan Banting 4 Hari Beruntun

Ether Bleeds $140 Million Following Fed Rate Hike - Solana Defies Trend with 4-Day Inflow Streak

The US central bank’s move to raise interest rates for the first time in more than three years immediately pressured capital flows across the institutional crypto market. The Fed enacted a 25 basis point hike, bringing the benchmark interest rate to a range of 3.75%-4.00%. That macroeconomic decision sparked a shift in fund flows across US spot crypto ETFs, resulting in total combined outflows of $70.7 million over the September 14-18, 2026 trading week.

Data from Farside Investors ranked spot Ether ETFs as the weakest-performing category among the four tracked assets. The instruments recorded net outflows of $140.6 million in just one week. The initial deficit stemmed from $405.4 million in withdrawals between Wednesday and Friday of the previous week, and Friday’s inflows proved too small to offset the gap.

The interest rate hike had the sharpest impact on Ether, widening its recovery gap with Bitcoin. While Bitcoin inflows recovered nearly all mid-week redemptions, Ether saw only a fraction returned. Despite the broader negative trend, BlackRock’s ETHB ETF and Grayscale’s low-fee ETF posted an anomaly by collecting inflows of $7 million and $16.2 million, respectively.

Solana’s Consistency Cuts Through the Tide

As capital rotated away from Ethereum products, spot Solana ETFs emerged as the week’s most consistent performer. The investment vehicle posted positive inflows in four out of five trading sessions. Solana ETF inflows peaked during Friday trading, making it the most stable asset in accumulating capital amid higher rate sentiment.

A similar trend followed in spot Bitcoin ETFs. The asset closed the week with net inflows of $6.1 million, reversing course from difficult sessions earlier in the week. On Tuesday and Wednesday, investors offloaded massive capital from Bitcoin ETFs, posting total outflows of $746.3 million. The late-week inflows coincided with spot market sentiment, as BTC prices climbed back above $80,000 on Friday.

Hyperliquid ETFs also recorded positive figures. The tracking instrument logged a weekly capital addition of $3.1 million, rounding out the list of ETF groups that closed in the green.

First Institutional Test

The US ETF market’s response to the 25 bps rate increase highlighted diverging asset preferences at the institutional level. Bitcoin and Solana recovered faster to withstand redemption pressures, while Ether holders reacted to the rate hike by shedding more of their positions. Reported by crypto.news.
