Franklin Templeton Daftarkan Dua ETF di Nasdaq - Dividen Saham AS Otomatis Masuk ke Bitcoin

Franklin Templeton Registers Two ETFs on Nasdaq - US Stock Dividends Automatically Reinvested into Bitcoin

Franklin Templeton is bringing stock dividend reinvestment strategies to the crypto market. The asset manager, overseeing $1.8 trillion in assets, registered two exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the Nasdaq exchange on October 22, 2026. The securities registration was completed under Section 12(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 via a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The two proposed products are the Franklin US Equity Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF under ticker FBEQ and the Franklin US Innovation Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF under ticker FIBT. The filing paves the way for US stock dividends to be channeled into Bitcoin instruments.

The mechanism of both funds relies on reinvesting cash dividends received from publicly listed companies.

How Stock Dividends Turn Into Bitcoin

Both ETFs employ a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP) strategy. Core fund capital is invested in US equities. When cash or special dividends are distributed by issuers, they are automatically allocated to purchase Bitcoin exposure via registered investment products on the business day following the ex-dividend date.

The portfolios of both funds track indices developed by VettaFi. FBEQ monitors the VettaFi US Large-Cap 500 Bitcoin DRIP Index, covering 500 large US companies. Meanwhile, FIBT tracks 100 innovative companies from the Nasdaq universe via the VettaFi US Innovation Bitcoin DRIP Index.

Initial portfolio allocations are set at 95% US equities and 5% Bitcoin-related instruments. Franklin Templeton has set an annual management fee of 0.09% for both index funds.

Strict Rebalancing Rules and Allocation Limits

Portfolio weight shifts are controlled through periodic allocation limits. If the share of Bitcoin instruments exceeds 5% during a quarterly review, the allocation is trimmed back to 4.5%.

Rebalancing rules also apply outside the quarterly evaluation schedule. If a price surge pushes the Bitcoin weighting above 20% between review periods, the manager is required to reduce the allocation to 4.5% by the close of the second business day after the breach occurs.

Bitcoin pricing for the index references the Kaiko Bitcoin New York Reference Rate at 4:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). This benchmark is used to determine the portfolio’s daily reference value.

Fund Share Ownership Without Physical Coins

Investors purchasing shares hold ETF shares in a brokerage account without holding physical Bitcoin directly. This Nasdaq registration continues Franklin Templeton’s digital asset expansion in capital markets, following its previous launch of the BENJI on-chain money market fund.

For stock market investors, this DRIP structure provides crypto asset exposure from dividends without requiring new cash deposits or managing a self-custody wallet.
