TRON founder Justin Sun now holds 2.82% of the total circulating supply of the memecoin PEPE. As of October 27, 2026, on-chain intelligence data from Arkham Intelligence shows Sun’s total holdings across multiple wallets reached $51.25 million. This position makes him the largest individual holder of PEPE globally, surpassing anyone outside centralized exchange platforms.
At the time of the report, PEPE’s market capitalization stood at around $1.81 billion. The only entities holding larger shares than Sun are centralized exchanges custodying user funds. Binance leads the pack with 18.7% worth $337.5 million, followed by Robinhood at 8.37% worth $150.9 million, Coinbase at 5.03%, and OKX at 4.15%. Outside corporate accounts held by trading platforms, Sun ranks at the very top.
The surge in Sun’s holdings centered on two large-scale withdrawal transactions toward the end of October.
Two Withdrawals from Poloniex
Prior to October 17, 2026, Sun’s wallets held only around 68 billion PEPE tokens valued at $267,000. That amount represented the remnants of transfers from Binance in late 2023 and Poloniex transaction activity throughout 2024.
The portfolio landscape shifted rapidly through two withdrawal transactions from Poloniex. On October 17, 2026, Sun withdrew 7.2 trillion PEPE worth $28.44 million. Nine days later, on October 26, 2026, he withdrew an additional 4.65 trillion tokens valued at $20.32 million.
At the time of the transactions, the combined value of both withdrawals reached $48.76 million. Market price gains as of October 27 lifted the valuation of those holdings to $51.01 million. This price movement generated an unrealized profit of more than $2 million for the TRON founder.
Token Routing and Stablecoin Flows
Arkham Intelligence tracked the movement of tokens before entering Sun’s hands. The PEPE tokens flowed from Binance to Poloniex, passing through the HTX exchange, before arriving in his private wallets, including an address starting with 0x721.
The token withdrawals coincided with capital movements in the form of stablecoins. Between October 15 and October 25, 2026, Sun’s wallets transferred $77 million in stablecoins, including USDT and USDC, directly to Poloniex. These assets were withdrawn from three decentralized lending protocols: Spark, Aave, and Sky.
Liquidity Risks for Retail Holders
The concentration of 2.82% of the supply in a single whale has raised concerns regarding market liquidity. Memecoins are highly sensitive to daily trading volume; if a party with a position as large as Sun’s suddenly takes profits, retail holders face the risk of sharp selling pressure on the open market.
For retail PEPE investors, these dynamics carry real consequences: price action is now shadowed by the decisions of a single major wallet outside crypto exchanges.
