Pump.fun Cetak 8,9 Juta Koin Baru - 79% Langsung Berhenti Diperdagangkan di Hari Pertama

Pump.fun Mints 8.9 Million New Coins - 79% Stop Trading on Day One

Nearly nine million tokens launched on the Pump.fun platform in less than a year, but the vast majority saw trading activity evaporate within hours. Bitquery research examining 8,984,141 Solana tokens on Pump.fun between November 1, 2025, and October 7, 2026, found that 79% of coins stopped trading immediately after their launch day. The staggering volume of daily releases stands in sharp contrast to the active lifespan of coins on the open market.

By the fifth week following launch, only 1.5% of total Pump.fun tokens still recorded any transactions. The market appears even bleaker when measured by trading frequency: just 0.2% of tokens logged at least 10 transactions over that five-week window. These figures highlight speculative capital rotating out almost immediately after a coin is created.

How Long Memecoins Can Survive

A separate report by Jumpbit analyzing 1,083,771 Pump.fun token launches recorded an average of 36,100 new coins released per day. Of that total, 95.1% did manage to log initial trades shortly after release. However, only 17.2% were still being traded after the first 24 hours, dwindling to 7.5% after seven days. Jumpbit also found that just 10.8%, or 116,714 tokens, reached the graduation phase and migrated to PumpSwap.

This trend is not isolated to Pump.fun. Competing platforms across the Solana ecosystem face similarly low survival rates, according to Bitquery’s research. On Raydium LaunchLab, 84% of tokens stopped trading after the first day, with only 1.3% surviving into week five. Meanwhile, on Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve, 51% of coins ceased trading after day one, and just 1.9% remained actively traded by the fifth week.

Bot Activity and Market Fatigue

Behind the high mortality rate, automated activity was detected in a DEXTools study analyzing 215 Pump.fun pools. The research found that 24% of tokens exhibited bot-like activity surges, posting at least 20 transactions within their first 15 minutes. The median transaction count per token stood at just three trades, and 30% of coins recorded no follow-up transactions whatsoever after their initial listing.

The explosion of token supply without holding fundamentals has ultimately triggered memecoin trader fatigue. MemeFees data from October 19 recorded 21,765 new coin launches in a single day across eight platforms, including 10,570 coins on Flap.sh, 9,284 on Pump.fun, and 1,707 on Pons. This massive daily supply dilutes market liquidity across tens of thousands of short-lived tokens. For memecoin traders, these statistics offer a clear reality check: the odds of a token remaining actively traded beyond five weeks sit well below two percent. Reported by crypto.news.
