Tambang Bitcoin Keluarga Trump Kantongi 8.002 BTC - Tapi Harga Sahamnya Justru Sentuh Titik Terendah

Trump Family-Backed Bitcoin Miner Holds 8,002 BTC, But Its Stock Price Hits Record Low

American Bitcoin is now sitting on a pile of assets worth $512 million. The Trump family-backed mining firm reported that its Bitcoin holdings have surpassed 8,000 coins. As of late June 2026, the company’s digital wallet held 8,002 BTC, up 14% from 7,021 BTC at the end of March.

This increase in reserves aligns with their mining activities. Throughout the second quarter, American Bitcoin produced 932 BTC. This figure set a record as the highest production rate since the company launched in September last year.

Irony in the Stock Market

The achievements in the mining field did not resonate on the stock exchange. Behind the growing pile of coins, the balance sheet tells another side of the company’s operations. American Bitcoin posted a net loss of $57.2 million in the second quarter. This loss improved from the first-quarter net loss of $81.8 million, but still shows the high operating costs of the mining facilities.

These financial conditions had a direct impact on the company’s value in the eyes of public investors. American Bitcoin’s stock price actually hit a record low amid their mining achievements. This situation forced management to take emergency measures in July, implementing a 1-for-15 reverse stock split. This tactical move was solely aimed at meeting Nasdaq’s minimum bid price requirement to prevent their shares from being delisted from the main exchange.

Empty Executive Seats

Pressure from the falling stock price and cash losses also shook the executive ranks. Matt Prusak, who served as President and interim CFO of American Bitcoin, announced his resignation. Prusak decided to move to Giga Energy to fill the position of Chief Business Officer, leaving a vacant seat in the core management layer.

Despite facing the departure of a top executive and sluggish market performance, the founders chose to stick to the initial plan. Eric Trump, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, reaffirmed management’s confidence in Bitcoin as a long-term asset. He stated the company’s commitment to continue driving sustainable growth going forward.

Similar confidence came from CEO Mike Ho. Addressing stock fluctuations, Ho expressed optimism about the company’s future by focusing on building physical infrastructure. He believes that strengthening the mining facilities will ultimately deliver long-term value to shareholders.

The test for American Bitcoin has now shifted beyond merely increasing mining rig capacity. The primary challenge lies in the endurance of management: whether the half-billion-dollar Bitcoin reserve can silence market doubts and convince their key talent to stop seeking an exit.
