Pencarian Bitcoin di Google Sentuh Titik Terendah 5 Tahun - Padahal Harga Bertahan Dekat $81.000

Bitcoin Google Searches Hit 5-Year Low - Even as Price Holds Near $81,000

Global public interest in the keyword Bitcoin on Google Trends stood at 20 for the week of October 18-24, 2026. This score represents a sharp drop from the peak level of 100 recorded over the past five years. According to prediction market Kalshi, search volume for the keyword Bitcoin on Google has now tumbled to a five-year low. This decline in mainstream attention comes even as Bitcoin prices continue to hold around the $81,000 mark.

Market sentiment is divided over the significance of this search metric. While some traders believe retail interest has completely dried up, other analysts highlight ongoing business and blockchain infrastructure expansion despite waning public attention.

Similar Decline Patterns in September 2023 and 2024

Crypto trader Kaleo noted that similar drops in search volume occurred in September 2023 and September 2024. In both past instances, slumping Google searches marked a local price bottom for Bitcoin before the market initiated a major rally.

Contrasting Signals from Robinhood and Binance Wallets

Robinhood’s third-quarter 2026 financial report revealed crypto trading revenue of $120 million for the period ending September 30, down 55% compared to the same period last year. Conversely, Robinhood’s crypto transaction volume rose 23% quarter-over-quarter to $49.8 billion, with total revenue climbing 20% from $100 million in the second quarter.

Much of that sequential growth was driven by new product rollouts. Robinhood Chain contributed $26 million in net revenue toward total third-quarter crypto revenue. Without this new network’s contribution, the company’s crypto revenue would have contracted 6% from the previous quarter. Daily transaction activity on Robinhood Chain averaged 6.2 million between October 2-8, down from 10.8 million transactions in mid-September, according to data from growthepie.

In crypto exchange spot markets, retail interest signals paint a contrasting picture. CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost observed that deposit inflows from retail-sized wallets into Binance reached a six-month high on October 26.

Majority of Supply Held in Self-Custody Wallets

Research from Galaxy Research, led by Alex Thorn, indicates that approximately 11.1 million BTC, representing 55% of Bitcoin’s total circulating supply, now sits in addresses with no public owner attribution. The majority of these coins are stored in self-custody wallets, well outside daily exchange turnover.

For market observers tracking capital flows, declining Google searches do not necessarily point to vanished investor interest. Even as the general public stops searching for price updates, more than half of the coin supply remains locked in private wallets with no intention of moving onto exchanges.
