Interactive Brokers Buka Staking Ethereum - Broker $903 Miliar Satukan Bunga Kripto dengan Saham dan Opsi

Interactive Brokers Launches Ethereum Staking - $903B Broker Merges Crypto Yields with Stocks and Options

Interactive Brokers officially launched Ethereum staking services on October 13, 2026, through a partnership with Zerohash. The entry of the brokerage, which manages over $903 billion in client assets and serves 5 million global users, brings Proof of Stake mechanisms directly into the heart of capital markets.

What sets the S&P 500 index member’s move apart is not merely adding another crypto product, but directly integrating digital asset yields into a single unified investment account.

Compounding Yields Alongside Stocks and Options

Eligible clients can now lock up ETH balances without transferring capital off the platform. Within the same dashboard, investors can monitor staking positions while actively executing stock trades, options contracts, and futures trading on Nasdaq.

Rewards from validating the Ethereum network are credited directly to the staked coin balance. This automatic accumulation allows returns to compound for as long as clients maintain their positions. Users retain full control via the Staking Dashboard in the Client Portal to submit staking requests, track accrued earnings, or liquidate holdings through the unstaking process.

CEO Milan Galik compared this staking mechanism to Interactive Brokers’ Stock Yield Enhancement Program. Under that equity program, clients earn extra income by lending out fully paid securities held in their portfolios. A similar approach is now being applied to crypto assets.

Crypto Expansion Track Record and Zerohash’s Strategic Moves

The ETH staking service expands Interactive Brokers’ footprint in the digital asset market. The firm currently facilitates trading for 20 crypto assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Chainlink, Aave, and Dogecoin.

The launch follows a series of infrastructure upgrades rolled out throughout 2026. In January 2026, the broker introduced 24/7 account funding capabilities using stablecoins. Two months later, in March 2026, it introduced direct crypto deposit transfers from external wallets.

Behind the staking infrastructure deployment, Zerohash is pursuing strategic moves of its own. Interactive Brokers’ technology partner is currently applying for a US federal banking charter to solidify its operational regulatory foundation.

What It Means for Everyday Investors

For conventional investors, managing private keys independently or interacting directly with decentralized protocols often presents a technical hurdle. This custodial service opens access to Ethereum yields for capital allocators seeking administrative convenience.

There is inevitably a trade-off in self-custody behind this convenience. Yet for clients accustomed to managing multi-asset portfolios, the ease of tracking stock dividends and ETH staking yields within a single consolidated report offers genuine appeal.
