Multi-chain token launchpad Printr will cease all operations on August 31, 2026. The shutdown is accompanied by the cancellation of the token generation event (TGE) and the highly anticipated community airdrop program. Users who have been collecting points are confirmed to receive no token distribution whatsoever.
Printr stated that they spent the last three months seeking ways to continue operations. However, these efforts hit a dead end as no options successfully brought in adequate funding or distribution support.
This news adds to the growing list of crypto platforms that have recently collapsed. In July 2026, DEX aggregator Odos also shut down its services, followed by Step App, which set a withdrawal deadline of August 21.
Automated User Fund Withdrawals
Despite failing to survive, the Printr team ensured that users would not lose their staked assets. Starting August 18, the platform’s system automatically unstaked all positions. All available rewards were also claimed and returned directly to the users’ originating wallets.
This measure eliminates the need for users to submit separate unstaking requests. If any assets have not returned to wallets before August 20, Printr directs users to contact the team via their official Discord server. This technical support is time-limited and will run until August 31. After that date, the Printr application interface will go completely offline.
This shutdown has a limited impact on the Printr platform. Tokens from various projects launched through their platform are confirmed to remain safe on-chain. The smart contracts for those tokens operate independently and are not owned by Printr.
The End of a Bybit-Incubated Project’s Journey
Printr’s failure to survive is noteworthy given the long list of backers behind it. The project was incubated directly by Bybit Venture Studio and formed partnerships with Mantle and Byreal during its initial launch in October 2025.
The capital raised was substantial. Printr secured $2.5 million in pre-seed funding in January 2025, followed by a $2 million extension. Their investor lineup includes Sfermion, Draper Dragon, Bitscale, Sui Foundation, Axelar Foundation, Flow Foundation, and Mirana Ventures. The platform was also built with a broad scope to support the Ethereum, Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Mantle, and Sui ecosystems, backed by cross-chain infrastructure from Axelar and LayerZero.
As Printr enters its final days, users face an additional risk. Situations of confusion are often exploited by bad actors. Fake claim links could potentially spread, targeting the community affected by the shutdown. Once panic sets in, that is where scams begin.
