Rekor $1 Miliar Pertama Kartu Stablecoin - Transaksi Sebulan Kini Ludes dalam 4 Menit

Stablecoin Cards Hit First $1 Billion Milestone - A Month of Volume Now Cleared in 4 Minutes

July 2026 marked a new milestone in crypto payment adoption. Monthly spending via stablecoin cards reached $1.04 billion, crossing the one-billion-dollar threshold for the first time. This figure surged three-fold from July 2025, which stood at just $339 million.

Data from Paymentscan, an independent payment data provider, shows that cumulative total stablecoin card volume has now surpassed $10.9 billion. The pace of growth has transformed the industry landscape in a matter of months. Three years ago, when RedotPay first launched its card to the public, the entire industry could only process around $60,000 in a month. Today, that same amount of spending volume is processed in just four minutes.

Not Just a Trading Tool

This volume shift is driven by changing consumer spending patterns. RedotPay co-founder Jonathan Chan emphasized that users of their service are not speculative crypto traders. They are everyday people looking for more efficient ways to manage their daily finances.

The scale of this growth is evident from RedotPay’s internal data. The company currently records an annualized payment volume of around $14 billion, with annual revenue exceeding $180 million. Its user base has reached eight million people across more than 100 countries. Their expansion path broadened further after securing their first money transmitter license in the United States, with applications in 20 other states still pending approval.

Involvement of Payment Giants

RedotPay targets annual spending via stablecoin cards to surge toward $50 billion by 2028. This projection does not exist in a vacuum, but aligns with traditional payment giants embracing crypto infrastructure.

Since June, Mastercard has facilitated transaction settlements using six regulated dollar-pegged stablecoins. This list includes USDC, PayPal USD, and Ripple USD, with settlement operating on Ethereum, Solana, and the XRP Ledger. Stripe took a similar step by building stablecoin card infrastructure through Bridge across more than 100 markets shortly after completing its acquisition.

Much has changed behind the scenes, yet the consumer-facing experience remains familiar. For millions of users, adopting blockchain technology no longer requires complicated passwords or digital wallets - just a regular plastic card that can be swiped at checkout.
