Outflow ETF Kripto AS Tembus $610 Juta - Giliran Ethereum yang Paling Banyak Dilepas

US Crypto ETF Outflows Top $610 Million - Ethereum Sees Heaviest Redemptions

Data from Farside Investors across five product tables shows US crypto ETFs recorded $610.7 million in net weekly withdrawals in mid-October 2026. The dynamic shifted this round: Ethereum ETFs led outflows with $320.1 million, outpacing Bitcoin ETFs, which lost $228.4 million.

Bitcoin and Ethereum together accounted for $548.5 million, or 89.8% of the total funds withdrawn from all US crypto ETF products. The concentration of redemptions in these top two assets indicates institutional investors are trimming direct exposure to high-liquidity markets.

While $610.7 million is a substantial figure, this selling pressure was actually more than cut in half compared to the previous week.

Weekly Withdrawals Drop by More Than Half

These weekly outflows fell 52.5% compared to the October 5-9 period, which previously recorded $1.2863 billion in withdrawals. Although all categories remained negative, the pace of redemptions slowed. Across five trading days, only Tuesday recorded a positive combined inflow of $194.3 million, after Monday lost $155.5 million. The remaining three sessions came under renewed pressure from outflows.

In the Bitcoin cohort, Invesco BTCO lost $4.1 million and the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust recorded $7.6 million in withdrawals. These outflows were relatively subdued compared to earlier in the month: during the October 7 session, Bitcoin ETFs suffered a daily withdrawal of $484.9 million - the largest daily record since June 25, when outflows reached $691.7 million.

Solana and Hyperliquid Also Suffer Capital Outflows

Liquidity pressure also spread to other assets. Solana products lost $25.5 million across October 12-16, with all sessions ending negative. The steepest daily withdrawal occurred on Friday, when BSOL shed $12.7 million. At the same time, Hyperliquid products lost $10.3 million on Thursday, with the largest share coming from THYP at $7.1 million.

Rate Expectations and US Inflation Pressures

CoinShares recorded $434 million in withdrawals from global digital asset investment products during its reporting period, which differs in scope from Farside’s data. CoinShares attributed the outflows to shifting interest rate expectations following the release of US inflation and retail sales data.

The macroeconomic backdrop clarifies the reason for that caution. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that September consumer inflation stood at 3.7% year-over-year and 0.6% month-over-month, while annual producer inflation reached 6.3%.

For crypto asset holders, the defensive stance of institutional investors sends a clear signal: producer inflation at 6.3% makes near-term monetary easing unlikely. As long as dollar borrowing costs remain elevated, the ETF market remains vulnerable to sudden capital withdrawals at any time.
