Bursa Besutan Eks Bos Binance Futures Tutup Operasional - 237.000 Pengguna Dialihkan ke Airdrop DUSD

Exchange Founded by Former Binance Futures Head Shuts Down - 237,000 Users Shifted to DUSD Airdrop

Decentralized perpetual futures exchange StandX has officially shut down all operations. The trading platform, founded by former Binance Futures head Aaron Gong, chose to terminate its services despite previously amassing over $200 million in Total Value Locked (TVL) since its mainnet launch in November 2025.

That TVL was previously propelled by yield-bearing margin features and community liquidity incentives that attracted more than 237,000 users. Rather than pursuing further business expansion, the platform operators are now initiating a phased liquidation.

What sets this shutdown apart is not merely the development team stepping aside, but the decision to cancel its planned governance token in order to redirect funds toward a DUSD airdrop.

From Yield Halts to Automated Closures

The shutdown process is structured in a phased timeline. Starting October 15, 2026, StandX has completely halted all yield distributions, including DUSD yield, Position Yield, Community Maker Yield, and referral commissions. On the same date, new vault creation and fund deposits were entirely suspended.

Five days later, on October 20, 2026, trading activity will switch to reduce-only mode. Traders will no longer be able to open new positions and will only be permitted to close or reduce existing contracts. New user registrations, DUSD minting, as well as Block Trades and Block Options features will also officially close on that day.

For traders with remaining open positions, the protocol will execute forced closures on January 15, 2027, based on market mark prices. This automated closure will be immediately followed by the settlement of SLP vaults, Community Strategy, and Community Shield. Account holders are given until January 31, 2027, to withdraw funds from perpetual wallets and spot balances, as well as finalize DUSD redemptions.

Token Cancelled, DUSD Airdrop Offered as Replacement

Plans to issue a governance token have now been completely called off. In its place, StandX has prepared a one-time DUSD airdrop to compensate affected users.

The DUSD distribution comes with no lockup or vesting schedule, funded by a combination of residual protocol revenue and personal capital injections from the founding team. Eligible users will be able to immediately transfer their stablecoin balances once the distribution is complete.

A wallet eligibility checker will open on October 26, 2026, at 00:00 UTC. Following that, token claims via BNB Chain and Solana network wallets are scheduled to run from November 1 to December 31, 2026.

A Hard Deadline for Asset Holders

For StandX’s 237,000 users, unvested stablecoin compensation provides reliable value compared to holding a governance token from a shuttered platform. However, the redemption timeline demands strict discipline: failing to close positions before January 15 or missing the airdrop claim window before December 31 will forfeit the right to withdraw remaining assets.
