Pendanaan Kripto Tembus $1,29 Miliar Sepekan - Tapi Transaksi Terbesarnya Tak Pakai Uang Tunai

Crypto Funding Reaches $1.29 Billion in a Week - But Its Largest Transaction Was Non-Cash

The crypto and blockchain industry recorded a total of $1.298 billion in funding across six major transactions from August 16 to 22, 2026. This figure proves that asset movement continues, even though the largest portion was filled by a deal that involved no cash at all.

The top spot on this week’s funding list was dominated by ZeroStack’s maneuver. The company agreed to a $1 billion contribution, which took the form of non-cash MemeCore (M) tokens transferred by Purple AI and Blockcat. Such transactions demonstrate alternative ways of restructuring ownership and capitalization in the crypto landscape without any fiat.

As compensation for the inflow of $1 billion in M tokens, ZeroStack provided equity in return. They issued 3.5 million common shares to be delivered directly to entities affiliated with the MemeCore project. Beyond common stock, the deal also includes warrant options allowing the purchase of up to 36.2 million additional shares in the future. All shares involved in this maneuver are pegged at a fixed valuation of $25.19 per share.

Where Did the Cash Flow?

While ZeroStack relied on tokens, the inflow of large amounts of cash capital was spearheaded by Ripple Prime. This business unit, which focuses on prime brokerage, raised $275 million in debt funding. These fresh funds were obtained not through the sale of shares, but through the issuance of senior unsecured debt - often referred to as senior unsecured notes - offered to institutional investors.

This capital injection comes with a specific purpose. Ripple Prime is preparing the $275 million to expand the reach of their institutional prime brokerage services in the United States market. This service expansion includes adding capacity for clearing facilities, financing, and opening trading access that integrates digital and traditional assets simultaneously.

Building Vaults and AI Automation

Beyond the two large transactions above, the remaining funding this week flowed to projects building applied technology. NeoSoul, a Web3 platform developer, completed an $11 million pre-Series A funding round. This round was backed by investors such as MH Ventures and Amber Group. The capital is fully allocated to finance the development of NeoTrade, a crypto trading platform whose operations are driven by AI agents.

Blueprint Finance also completed its own fundraising. They closed a strategic funding round led by venture capital firm Polychain Capital. Blueprint Finance is building Concrete, a non-custodial storage vault infrastructure. This infrastructure is specifically designed to meet the security standards of financial institutions looking to enter the crypto market without handing over control of their assets to third parties.

This variety of deal structures - ranging from swapping shares for tokens, corporate debt for brokerage services, to venture capital for applied infrastructure - illustrates the diverse entry points for capital circulation in this industry ecosystem. Reported by crypto.news.
