Stablecoin USD1 Keluarga Trump Jadi Alat Bayar Derivatif $9 Triliun - Ironinya SEC Justru Belum Bergerak

Trump Family’s USD1 Stablecoin Becomes Settlement Tool for $9 Trillion Derivatives Market - Yet the SEC Has Not Moved

World Liberty Financial, a crypto venture founded by the Trump family in 2024, has officially launched its native USD1 stablecoin on Canton Network. The launch on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, opens the door for the token to target institutional transaction settlement workflows.

USD1 is immediately operational as the cash leg for various large-scale transactions. Its functions include derivatives collateral processing, institutional lending facilities, and the execution of asset issuances and redemptions within the Canton ecosystem.

Canton Network is a permissionless public blockchain network serving institutional finance with monthly tokenized asset processing volumes exceeding $9 trillion. Within its network traffic, more than $350 billion in US Treasurys circulate on-chain daily.

Expansion Track Record

This new operational milestone expands USD1’s reach since it was first introduced to the public in March 2025. Latest data from tracking platform DeFiLlama shows the token’s market capitalization has reached $4.05 billion. That valuation ranks the Trump family’s product sixth among the world’s largest stablecoins.

Reserve management is fully entrusted to BitGo Bank & Trust, which also handles the minting and redemption cycle. The banking entity maintains a backing asset structure of short-term US Treasurys, government money market funds, and cash dollar deposits.

The USD1 integration follows another Canton expansion initiative announced last week. Digital Asset, in collaboration with former US House Speaker Paul Ryan, has developed plans to pilot a state welfare distribution system powered by Canton infrastructure. The pilot project is targeted to launch across three US states in 2027.

Silence Beyond the Market

World Liberty Financial’s rapid operations have also drawn scrutiny from legal observers. A Gizmodo report cited experts questioning why the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has yet to open any formal investigation into the Trump-backed venture’s operations.

It is important to emphasize that this legal issue still lacks broader context and cannot be further confirmed. The exact reasons why regulators have refrained from launching formal steps will not be revealed until official written documents are issued by the agency.
